Dylan-McCartney coming soon?
Remember the news earlier this week concerning that long lost Beatles’ track, “Carnival of Light”? Well, that isn’t all Sir Paul McCartney has been discussing with Geoff Lloyd all this week on Geoff Lloyd’s Hometown Show, evenings from 5-8pm (GMT) on the UK’s national Absolute Radio.
Take this one for example. On Monday, McCartney mentioned that he would enjoy someday collaborating with Bob Dylan, saying, “Dylan would be lovely, because I admire him.”
The 60s, man, they just won’t die. (It’s a mixed blessing.) But the important question is, in the event of a collaboration, will it be immortalized “Dylan-McCartney” or “McCartney-Dylan”? Of course, no specifics were shared, likely because they are none to share, but rest assured, based on McCartney’s track record (this week alone he is celebrating the release of his new collaboration with Youth), I suppose anything is possible.
If you don’t live in the UK, you can still hear Macca, Geoff Lloyd, or anybody else on Absolute Radio by going to absoluteradio.co.uk and streaming the webcasts.

How might such a collaboration go? I think it might be a little bit like…this!
