Bamboozle ‘09 unveils headliners, ticket info
Given some of the rumors floating out there, The Bamboozle 2009 could have been something very unique or an utterly disastrous. However thanks to the first of what will be a few lineup announcements, it now appears a couple of those “decoded names” are about as likely to appear at the New Jersey based emo-friendly festival as oh, I don’t know, Vampire Weekend.
Fall Out Boy and the recently reunited No Doubt have been tapped as the headliners for next year’s version of Bamboozle, scheduled to take place between May 2 and 3 at the Meadowlands Sports Complex. By then, Pete Wenz and co. will be in full swing promoting their forthcoming new album, Folie à Deux, as should Gwen and friends, at least, if they live up to their promise.
With the announcement, we now have that previously hinted reunion, meaning a few of the more “bigger” rumors (ie., Jackson 5, Sublime) may be all but quashed. Then again, unless you were really gullible, you probably didn’t put much stock once you saw Britney Spears name included.
Two-day passes for Bamboozle 2009 are now currently via Front Gate Tickets. Further lineup announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
Fall out boy huh? well that saves me some money this summer
I can dig the 2 bands chosen for the 09 Bamboozle, I think it would be awsome to see No Doubt back together. And I like Fall Out Boy, but I would love it and pretty sure there are others who would like to see Emarosa on the bill for this upcoming festival. Their an incredible band and I think they would a great addition to the show.

i honestly think saturday always gets the bad headliners. and since i have been going, if i go to this one it will be my 4th year, they kinda keep getting worse and worse. i always end up having more free time every year.

This years headliners are such a letdown since last years.
cmon why the fuck would u ever let fall out boy headline i would not be suprized if they get beat up on stage them fuckin faggs get some real bands up on that lineup
