Motorhead & Disney?

Motorhead & Disney?

You don’t need to watch the 1994 cult classic Airheads to know that Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead is God. If anything, he gets bigger, badder and better with age. With the release of their newest album earlier this year, the fearsome trio of Motorhead have shown no vital signs of slowing down, especially considering the ambitious tour they just finished. So, what’s next?

Well, it looks like these English biker heroes are up for another appearance. Though, this one won’t require any roadies or stage managers. Yesterday, PunkNews.org and Metal Underground, confirmed that Motorhead’s “Dog Face Boy”, which originally appeared in 1995’s Sacrifice, will appear in the new Disney movie Bolt, which hit theaters to mediocre numbers last Friday.

According to a report from Metal Underground, legendary British metal/punk act Motorhead will be featured briefly in a forthcoming film from family-friendly Disney. The decidedly un-family friendly band will include the song, “Dog Face Boy” in the dog-themed animated film Bolt.

It’s not much of a news story, but definitely a match made in hell. Who would have ever thought the likes of Lemmy and a conglomerate like Disney would ever be muttered in the same sentence. Hey, the same thing was probably being said when Billy Joel signed on to Oliver & Company back in 1989. And if anything, Bolt will become infinitely better than any Disney movie from here to eternity. With Lemmy on board, it’s guaranteed to be nothing but awesome. So, to get an idea of how awkward this song might be in the family friendly film, check it out below!
