The Prodigy offers details, tracklist of new album

After spending the first half of November bringing a whole lot of excitement with the announcement of its forthcoming album, Invaders Must Die, and worldwide tour - well, that is for everyone except those Coachella-goers - The Prodigy is now ready to talk specifics.

Composed of 11 tracks spanning 40 minutes, the English outfit’s fifth studio album is described as its most complete work to date, “a consistent collection of bangers all firing from the same cannon.” While the fact that all three members have a vocal presence on the album, the first time since of Fat Of The Land in 1997, would be the easiest explanation for this “completeness,” the band points to other contributing factors prevalent on Invaders Must Die that play a hand, such as a mixing of genres, “contorting the past and rewiring the future,” and a melodic nature “in the heyday-of-hardcore keyboard-hookline sense.”

Of the 11 tracks, two feature high-profile guest appearances; Does It Offend You, Yeah’s James Rushent lends vocals on the album’s title track, while Dave Grohl will offer a few drum beats on “Run with Wolves”.

Ahead of the release, The Prodigy will offer an early taste with a free digital download of “Invaders Must Die” beginning today on the band’s official website.
