Noah and the Whale cancels remaining tour dates
Just as soon as we got our hopes up about Noah and the Whale’s North American tour, the five-piece British pop band just had to turn around and rip our hearts out! That’s right, Noah and the Whale’s entire month long tour of the U.S. in support of Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down has officially been canceled.
In their defense, Noah and the Whale claim to be tangled up in some European commitments and a recent spurt of creative energy. Yup, word has it that these bandmates have their hands full with a slew of new material that’ll hopefully turn into the group’s sophomore album. And with that, the promise of another record seems to completely justify the cancellation of their tour, or does it? Honestly it’s a shame they couldn’t have developed these recording at a later date, but then again a new album and some extra material might actually may their next show exciting.
To make up for this unfortunate decision, the band promises to be back sometime around March 2009 with an even longer tour across the U.S. However, the question remains: can we trust them?
