Britney’s Circus: Coming soon to a town near you
Oh how the times have changed. A year ago, Britney Spears was facing arrests and consultations with Dr. Phil. Now, the 27-year-old pop diva is celebrating the release of a brand new studio album with the announcement of an extensive worldwide tour.
That’s right folks. Not only is ol’ Britney back on the wagon, she’ll soon be bringing all her best pop beats and choreographed dances to a town near you. In support of the recently released Circus (expect our full review in the coming days), Spears has unveiled plans for a multi-month world trek for early 2009. The fun will start in the singer’s home state of Louisiana on March 3rd after which she’ll crisscross the country for a better part of two months. A European stint, dates still forthcoming, will follow.
Pre-sale tickets (password: iHeartBrit) are currently available via ticketmaster.com. VIP packages, which include a limited edition tour laminate and backstage pass (how cool!) are also available.
Spears made the announced and celebrated her 27th birthday - doesn’t it feel like just yesterday that “Baby One More Time” was filling the airwaves? - with a performance of “Womanizer”, the first single off Circus, on ABC’s Good Morning America.

I really loved her last 2 albums. really. like waaaaay too much. but this one is not doing it for me so far.
i really liked her last 2 albums as well. circus is good but blackout was her best cd so it’s always hard to follow something that well produced. these tour dates are ruining my life by the way. i’ve wanted to see her for so long and now i’m gonna be in another country when she comes around
