The Pretenders detail 2009 itinerary

As alluded to earlier this month, The Pretenders will spend a great deal of 2009 on the road touring in support of their recently released album, Break Up the Concrete. While the idea of a tour might not be as special as some other old favorites - after all, their most recent tour was in 2007 - one certainly has to give props to the British outfit. After thirty years with a history that could fill a book, Chrissie Hynde and Co. are still going strong.

Beginning at the end of January, Hynde along with Martin Chambers, James Walbourne, Eric Heywood, and Nick Wilkinson will embark on a two-month North American tour, which will see The Pretenders essentially stop everywhere before ending in mid-March. Well, everywhere that is, except Florida. Could a Langerado appearance be on the horizon? We shall see…
