Tokyo Police Club plots Spring fun
For as much as people ride Tokyo Police Club for being a byproduct of hype, fortunate, or whatever other explanation one can come up with to evaluate the existence of the Canadian outfit thus far, they definitely aren’t ones for slacking. In a year that has seen TPC release its debut album, Elephant Shell (yeah, that did happen this year!), tour relentlessly solo and with Weezer, and even make a guest appearance on Desperate Houswives, Dave Monks and Co. are showing no signs of slowing down. At least, not until next March.
Following a short trek in their native Canada in December, Tokyo Police Club will embark on another round of U.S. dates beginning in late February. The month-long stint will reportedly mark the band’s final live performances before it heads back to the studio to begin work on the follow up to Elephant Shell.
