Disco Biscuits plot Spring tour, super secret show
After some four months away from the rigors of music life, the Disco Biscuits will soon return and hit it full on. Ahead of their forthcoming new studio album, which is expected to see release sometime in 2009, the Philadelphia based jam band will spend the good part of the next few months on the road.
Next week, the Disco Biscuits will make their live return with a series of headlining performances at the Caribbean Holidaze in Jamaica before heading back to the states for a five-night stint in New York’s Nokia Theater to help music fans ring out the year. Then, beginning in mid-January, Jon “Babar” Gutwillig and crew will embark ion a four week, five weekend “powerhouse” Norther American tour, which will see the Biscuits stop by some of the most prestigious concert halls across the country. The band will cap of the tour in early March at a “surprise show” on the 8th - um…Langerado, anybody?
Tickets for all shows are on sale through BiscoTix on Monday, December 8th, and from Ticketmaster on Friday, December 12th. For those left out on this round, don’t worry, the Disco Biscuits promise more dates are on the way.
