Ultra Music Festival ‘09 drops initial lineup
Between Langerado and the Winter Music Conference, the state of Florida should be a pretty hoping place come March of 2009. While we’re still two (count ‘em two!) days away from Langerado’s ‘09 lineup, thanks to the dance-friendly, Winter Music Conference-sponsored Ultra Music Festival, we now have some names to salivate over as we dream of the summer months ahead.
DJ Tiësto, Bloc Party, and Santogold highlight the confirmed names set to grace Miami, Florida between March 27 and 28 for the 2009 edition of the outdoor electronic music festival. Other accepted attendees include Carl Cox, Deadmau 5, Crystal Castles, Cut Copy, Simian Mobile Disco, Busy P, and Roni Size Repersent, who will be making his first U.S. appearance in over seven years.
Pre-sale prices for two-day passes and VIP packages are currently available via Ultra’s official website. Once the initial amount of these particular tickets sell out, prices will increase.

The Ultra Music Festival is just one of many events taking place during the Winter Music Conference so if you’re looking for a nice week off in March, Miami may be the place to go. Early registration for the weeklong conference is currently ongoing, while a number of early artist confirmations have already started to trickle in.
