Taste of Chaos returns for 2009

Since its inception in 2005, Taste of Chaos has been considered the winter Warped tour, a hardcore-heavy tour offering fans across the country an early taste of what to expect in the months ahead. So what should come as little surprises, the Rockstar Energy Drink sponsored event is set to return in 2009 for another multi-stop go around.

Beginning in mid-February, the fifth annual Taste of Chaos tour will take the likes of Thursday, Bring Me The Horizon, Four Year Strong, Pierce the Veil, and Cancer Bats to folks across the country. “After listening to what fans had to say during Warped Tour and watching many of these bands with thousands of fans watching them perform these are the bands rock fans want to see. And I believe they’re all on the brink of breakout success,” declares tour founder Kevin Lyman in a statement explaining this year’s bill.

Tickets for the tour, set to range in the $20-25 price range, will go on sale beginning Friday, December 12th. Winners of Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands will also appear at select stops.
