Last we heard, Sara Lov was about to start work on her debut album, but we never expected to see it so soon! Apparently, Lov has been on a roll ever since she teamed up with Nettwerk a few months back, first releasing The Young Eyes EP, and now finalizing her forthcoming debut album, Seasoned Eyes Were Beaming. It’s almost as if Lov has been on a mission to rapidly fire out some killer new tunes with Seasoned Eyes Were Beaming, which is impossibly groovy of her.

The new record is set to hit stores on March 17^th and although an official tracklist has yet to be released, word has it that the album’s single will be “My Body Is A Cage”; an Arcade Fire cover which received a lot of attention and praise on The Young Eyes EP. Not surprisingly, the album will also include a majority of the other songs found on The Young Eyes EP as well.

So far, with a little help from Lov’s MySpace, we’ve been able to piece together a few tidbits about the album such as its inclusion of darker musical arrangements backing up her beautiful vocals in a manner which she describes as, “simple and sad with a shot of scotch.”

If you just can’t wait for more Sara Lov awesomeness, you’ll have to head over to Los Angeles and catch one of her upcoming shows!
