Coheed relives Neverender with box set
If you were one of the unlucky ones left out of Coheed and Cambria’s Neverender shows - and considering tickets for all four stands (New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and London) sold out in just three minutes, that’s probably a lot of you - fret no more. On March 3rd, the New York based outfit will help everyone relive Neverender with the release of a nine-disc box set.
Entitled The Children of the Fence, the box set looks to document the band’s four night stand in New York (October 22-25, 2008) with four live DVDs, four live audio CDs, one documentary DVD,
a 10×10 hardcover 48-page photo book, and a 7-1/2″ custom metal dragonfly.
Let’s take a moment to soak that all in.
Now on to some more specifics. The audio featured on the box set was recorded and mixed without any overdubs of any kind, “using only what was laid down over those nights.” In other words, Children of the Fence will be unedited, missed notes included, in all the glory that is a Coheed live performance.
Pre-sales for the box began on Friday, Dec 12th via the band’s official website. As an added bonus, the first 3,000 copies will be signed by the band.

picked the boxed set up today. It’s a BEAST.
one of the nicest sets i’ve ever seen.
My only problem with Coheed is the fact the band is on a major and, lately, is forced to co-headline every other tour with a huge metal band that generally seems so out-of-whack. Freakin’ Slipknot?
With Slipknot…? Really? Weird pairing.
