The Dead hints at future plans?

This past February and again in October, Barack Obama essentially raised “The Dead” so to speak after reuniting the remaining members of The Grateful Dead for two separate benefit concerts. While both were billed only as one-off performances to support the Democratic Presidential candidate in his run for the White House, the reunion of Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann also sparked rumors of a more extensive comeback, which would included a multi-month world tour soon followed.

And as a video recently leaked onto the internet indicates, The Dead is doing little to downplay these rumors. While the below video gives no specifics, it does feature footage of the legendary outfit rehearsing as well as a candid disucssion between all four members on the topic of performing together again.

Rumors from late August had a full-fledged reunion tour kicking off in either April or May of 2009. Of course, nothing has been officially confirmed.
