The Whip gears up for U.S. debut

The Whip gears up for U.S. debut

After spending much of 2008 conquering the U.K. with its critically acclaimed debuted album and appearances at nearly every music festival known to man, the British electro pop group better known as The Whip will use the new year to do the same across the pond. On March 3rd, the four-piece outfit will unveil its dance meets 80s friendly debut album, X Marks Destination, in the U.S. via Razor & Tie Records. The U.S. edition will feature the album’s 10 original synth-heavy tracks along with four special edition bonus remixes, which include renditions from the Bloody Beetroots and Crookers.

The Whip will look to mark the U.S. release with an extensive North American tour beginning next March. While specific dates are this forthcoming, the trek will include stops at both South by Southwest and the Winter Music Conference in Miami.
