Mountain Jam unearths 2009 lineup
After being flooded by 10,000 Lakes yesterday, today a mountain and a jamming one at that became the latest music festival to unearth its 2009 lineup. Gov’t Mule, the super healthy Allman Brothers Band, and Michael Franti & Spearhead are among the names heading the eighth annual Mountain Jam Music Festival, scheduled to take place between May 29 and 31 at Hunter Mountain, New York.
As for the rest of the lineup, it definitely appears to echo pre-announcement hype that this would be the most diverse collection of artists to appear at Mountain Jam. In fact, between Coheed & Cambria, The Hold Steady, and Girl Tak alone, there is something for everyone. Among those currently scheduled to take the stage over the three-day event include:
Gov’t Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Ray Lamontagne, Coheed & Cambria, The Derek Trucks Band, The Hold Steady, Richie Havens, Jack Greene, Girl Talk, Tea Leaf Green, Porter Batiste Stolz, Railroad Earth, Brett Dennen, The Lee Boys, U-Melt, The Macpodz, and The Brew
Both general admission and VIP passes for the Radio Woodstock and Warren Haynes produced event will go on sale beginning Monday, January 26th via MountainJam.com. Additional acts are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks. As always, be sure to check our Mountain Jam Outlook page for all the last lineup news.
