Three things are pretty evident about Neko Case. She’s a talented musician, an incredibly caring human being, and one hell of a marketing genius. After all, just take one look at the Virginia native’s latest offering. Ahead of the March 3rd release date of her brand new studio album, Middle Cyclone, Miss Case has asked us and every other music related outlet to post a free download of the 15-track effort’s first single, “People Gota A Lotta Never”. Sound cool, right?

It gets better. In return, for every blog that posts said song and every iLike.com user who adds it to his/her profile, Neko and ANTI- Records will make a donation benefiting Best Friends Animal Society. Per the singer/songwriter herself:
