Sorry kids, Rothbury ain’t unveiling its lineup quite yet…
Sure, between recapping the Grammys and news from all our favorite high-school outfits, today has already been quite eventful. But festival enthusiasts will tell you that February 9, 2009 was also supposed to bring something else: the lineup for the 2009 edition of the Rothbury Music Festival.
Of course, nothing was ever officially confirmed, but following last month’s news that the Rothbury, Michigan based music festival would in fact be a go this year, a few lineup rumors started to circulated, the biggest being that this year’s bill would be announced on February 9th. However, as you can see, it’s now February 9th, and as of 2:00 p.m., there isn’t even a trace of an impending announcement.
So, what’s the deal? Well, according to the fine folks at Infobury.com, the highly obsessive Rothbury fan forum, the only announcement we’ll be getting to today is that of the 2009 dates, which if you’re a frequenter to FestivalOutlook.com, you’d know are July 2-5. Anything relating to the lineup won’t be unveiled until March at the earliest.
Guess this means we’ll be doing a bit more waiting. Thank goodness for our Rothbury Outlook page, right?
