For as good as The Thermals are on record, they are 1,000,000 times better live, so, needless to say, we were pretty excited to find a tour announcement from the Portland outfit in our inbox. The massive two month endeavor, which comes in support of the band’s upcoming album, Now We Can See (April 7th via Kill Rock Stars), officially launches in mid-April in the band’s home state of Oregon and will the trio just about everywhere in the weeks that follow. Hell, even Buffalo is getting some love!

The tour will be proceeded by a few sets at next month’s South by Southwest, which includes an appearance at their new label’s official showcase – as if our upcoming trip to Austin could get any better!
