Late Night Lobotomy (Week of 3/9)
Jimmy Fallon’s first week as a talk show host is done and I’d say he did OK. Not great by any means, but not a failure either. More important was his killer debut lineup–if he can keep that up, he’ll fare well. This week isn’t nearly as strong, but overall nobody’s lineup is.
In fact, what is up with this week? It’s quite a smattering of guests: We have an artist formerly known as Hootie, some country acts, some Pussycats, and a Broadway cast. I feel as though the theme is “A little something for everyone…literally, everyone.” Surely you can find something you like, late-nighters.
