Late Night Lobotomy (Week of 3/16)

Late Night Lobotomy (Week of 3/16)

This week’s big outside the music world: first day of spring and a holiday where everyone’s suddenly Irish. Get out your jogging shoes and your flasks.

But after night falls and you’re looking for something to soothe your sore calves and alcohol poisoning, you’ll find some worthwhile musical acts making the talk show rounds. Fallon continues a decent string of guests with two of last year’s big buzz acts, Vampire Weekend and The Ting Tings. But perhaps most notable just for the cringe factor is Leno’s Friday guest, Chris Cornell, whose Timbaland-produced, ”sociological experiment” of an album made Trent Reznor blush.

Added by Alex: Bruce Springsteen will be appearing on the Daily Show on Thursday Night! This is one of the cases when it sucks to be at SXSW…
