Blender, which saw a eight year existence since its first publication in 2001, was notorious for its somewhat off-kilter (and usually questionable) lists and reviews of artists’ entire discographies in each issue. The magazine also offered a wide variety of news and editorials which have been much appreciated by music lovers and artists alike over the course of its lifespan. The music and entertainment magazine’s website, blender.com, will continue.
Kelly Clarkson stares out of April’s and the publication’s final issue, which doesn’t really look so great as a final issue, though might be a good thing to know for Trivial Pursuit down the line. Regardless, Blender will be missed.
In related news, New York City’s Blender Theater at Gramercy will revert back to being called Gramercy Theatre. Time to update those tour dates…
