It’s not that we recommend checking out Lil Wayne‘s new video because it’s good. That couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, the video for “Prom Queen”, the first single of Weezy’s upcoming rock album, Rebirth, may be the worst thing ever to be posted onto the Internet, and no, I don’t think I’m exaggerating.

It doesn’t help that the “rock ‘n’ roll” sounds serving as the musical backdrop are downright awful, or that the lyrics sound like something crafted by a foul-mouthed third grader. Neither does the appearance of Korn – what is it, 1999? – as the backing band. But ultimately, all this pales in comparison to the video’s completely atrocious three-and-a-half minutes of footage chronicling a Wayne-like figure’s development from high-school nerd to rock superstar, all while spiting the “prom queen.” 15 seconds in, I wanted to blow my brains out.
