Disco Biscuits tap quite the bill for Camp Bisco 8
Last week, we gave major props to the Disco Biscuits for tapping quite an eclectic group of opener for their upcoming Bisco Inferno celebration at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. So, perhaps it should come as little of a surprise that the Philadelphia rockers went inanely insanely awesome for their annual outdoor music festival, aka Camp Bisco #8.
Of the 45+ performers scheduled to descend on Mariaville, New York from July 16-18, there will be hip-hop (Nas & Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley and K’Naan), DJs (Chromeo, The Orb, Special Disco Version, and Shpongle), some ol’ fashioned rock ‘n’ roll (Dr. Dog), and even the weird ass crazy styles of STS9. There will even be some tent action in the form of DFA Records’ Disco Tent and Twisted Records’ All-Star Tent. And of course, your hosts extraordinaire will perform - three times in fact - during the weekend.
All in all the lineup for Camp Bisco 8 looks something like this:

thats the dumbest thing i’ve ever read. “We need more techno jambands!!!” god forbid they book one of the most exciting and cutting edge producers in music instead of a shitty techno jamband that sounds like STS9 did before they started to suck.
