Eddie Vedder announces another solo tour
So that album, Ten, or whatever, just got re-issued. Apparently it’s a classic of sorts. Since I guess even the artists realize that re-issues really aren’t all that exciting, Pearl Jam isn’t stopping there. Well, at
least The V man isn’t. Today, Eddie Vedder announced via PearlJam.com that he will head out on another solo tour (remember last year’s?), which will no doubt include his material off of 2007’s Into The Wild soundtrack.
The tour will start in Albany, NY on June 8th and end in Honolulu, HI July 2nd. Even better, the buzzed about Liam Finn, son of Neil Finn (Crowded House), will be opening each show. If you’re a member of the seemingly exclusive Ten Club, a pre-sale will be offered for you lucky folks until April 10th at 5 p.m. PST. Info for that is here. Sadly, if you’re not yet a member, then you can’t cheat and just join now. Sorry, folks.

I’m thrilled that he’s playing two shows in Baltimore. I love living in the D.C. area. I saw EV last year at Warner Theater and it was a highlight of my summer. Maybe he’ll debut a new song or two from the new Pearl Jam record?
