Festival Leak: Austin City Limits ‘09

Festival Leak: Austin City Limits ‘09

Pictures tell a thousand words. In this case, they also tell us that Pearl Jam, John Legend, The B-52’s, Sonic Youth, Mos Def, and Thievery Corporation will be playing this year’s Austin City Limits. Oh, and what dates said acts will be playing at the Austin based music festival as well.

Talk about a super informative leak!

Not a bad start. And if you factor them in with the other acts currently confirmed on our ACL Outlook page, you know, like the Beastie Boys, Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Ghostland Observatory, The Knux, and Passion Pit, and this year’s ACL bill is already looking quite (fill in the blank).

All will officially be unveiled later this month. We’ll keep you updated.

Hat tip to the ACL Boarders

  1. Moss coming out of a deaf ear —-

    Mos Def

  2. Actually, that picture isn’t symbolizing John Legend. That’s actually for my band, “Unicorn Taking A Shit.” Yeah, we’ll be headlining the show on 10/3.

    In fact, and I don’t want to spoil or leak too much about ACL, but other bands that are scheduled to play that day will be:

    * The Pissin’ Griffins
    * Minotaur’s Cum Pepsi
    * Le Tampon of Le Mermaid (Reaaally good French New-Wave, step aside Kraftwerk)
    * The Vegetable Lamb of Tartary

  3. Just as I said weeks ago!

  4. they took all the pictures down…

  5. HAHA. Touché.

  6. “and this year’s ACL bill is already looking quite.”

    My thoughts exactly!

  7. where did this photo come from?

  8. Moss + Deaf

  9. I still don’t see how you get Mos Def from the ear one.
