As of now, it’s just a North American tour; however, while speaking to Billboard.com, Perry hinted that the band could continue through South America, Europe, and even Japan. That seems pretty productive for a group that’s hardly found success in the studio as of late. There are reasons for the delay, though.
“[We have] probably two or three (songs) that could be mixed right now, maybe even more,” Perry insists. “But there’s a long way between two or three and doing the 12 or 14 that you have to have to do a whole project.” To counter the naysayers, the famed guitarist (who has a striking resemblance to Keith Richards at times) added that he’s currently pummeling away at a solo record. “I have a big chunk of time before the tour, so I’m gonna try to get the solo record done as soon as I can.” Here’s the real kicker: “Chances are you’re gonna be hearing that before you hear an Aerosmith record…”
Well, it’s back to Jush Push Play, folks. Quick, forget the Advil, go grab a bucket, I think I’m nauseous. Someone please turn off “Jaded”…
