It’s been a good couple of weeks for the Richard Branson fan club. First, news came that Baltimore’s Virgin Mobile Festival would indeed be returning this year. Then, earlier this week, Virgin Festival Calgary announced similar plans. And now, Virgin Festival Toronto, the one which featured Noel Gallagher getting tackled last time around, looks to have unveiled its 2009 plans as well.

According to the festival’s MySpace, Virgin Festival Toronto will return to Burls Creek Park between August 29th and 30th. Additional information, including this year’s lineup is “coming soon.” Hopefully, “coming soon” really does mean “coming soon,” because I’m sure I’m not the only one really starting to get sick of being greated to Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger” (Live) every time I log onto virginfestival.ca/toronto.
