MF Doom’s latest album, Born Like This, just dropped and if you happened to get it off iTunes, this remix was your reward. Sure, Doom’s hip hop origins seem unlikely fodder for a Thom Yorke remix, yet stranger things have happened.

It’s atmospheric, spacey, at times haunting and sort of disconcerting. Hearing the urgent lyrics layered on the top of the howling synths and skittering drum beat, it is an interesting juxtaposition. It is nowhere as busy as the original which lets the lyrics stand out. At the same time, the busy nature made it more of a hip hop track. Decide for yourself and handicap who will appreciate this more, hip hop fans or Radiohead fans below.
