This time last week, we learned that Jet is not only alive, but actually still making music, as evident by a new single called “K.I.A.” Today, Jet has offered a bit more details of its future plans, specifically regarding the release of third full-length effort. On August 25th, the Australian quartet will release Shaka Rock, an album which promise to capture “the charisma and energy of classic rock and roll with just enough punk swagger and contemporary flair to create something uniquely Jet.”

Of course, whether the above description is accurate remains to be seen, but what we do know is that Jet has included an EPK for Shaka Rock, which you can watch below:

The album’s first single will be called “She’s A Genius”; other tracks expected to appear include “K.I.A.”, “Start the Show”, and “Black Hearts (On Fire)”. Sounds like the type of songs that should be featured on an album with a van on fire on its cover, right? Right.
