Either Jared Leto’s movie career has dried up and the lead singer is really hurting for cash, or he and the rest of 30 Seconds to Mars are really good at forgetting about how much Virgin Records has been trying to fuck them over during the last year (see: Virgin Records’ $30 million lawsuit against the band).
Whatever the case may be, the Los Angeles based trio has not only made up with the record label, but signed a signed a new multi-album recording deal. “It’s great to finally move forward and focus on what’s most important to us all- the music,” says Jared Leto. “We are excited about starting over with the many talented people at Virgin/EMI, and to sharing our new music with the fans in the very near future.”
The new music Leto speaks will be in the form of the band’s third full-length album, which is set for release this fall. The Flood-produced, Kanye West-featuring? followup to 2005’s A Beautiful Lie was originally referred to as This Is War. However, since news of the rekindling with Virgin, the album currently sports a yet-to-be-titled. Coincidence? Probably not.

God, people, go out and hear with OPEN ears songs like “Revolution” or “End of the beginning” and then judge again.
The music will be progressive and experimental with heavy synth. Not a chance in Hell the industry standard considering it was done entirely without the suits
With all due respect to Leto & Co. for putting out some of the best music videos in recent memory, their music is rather emo and given the context under which the 3rd album title mysteriously changed – one of three things could definitely happen:
1) It will be absolutely manufactured BS (can you say rap-rock?)
2) It will be all wickedly experimental in a possibly good way
3) It won’t end up seeing the light of day at allLeto will always winner in my mind. I mean come on the mad did Requiem.
I hate this band with a passion. They have the most generic emo rock music and worst music videos ever. This band completely crushed all respect I had for Leto.
