Fleet Foxes sneak in some tour dates
Fleet Foxes have taken the music scene by storm in the past year. Topping numerous year-end lists with the thrilling eponymous debut, and stealing many a heart with warm live shows, the Foxes have done more in a year than most bands do in a career. However, the band is not resting on its laurels just yet. In addition to playing several festivals, the Foxes have scheduled a small jaunt over here and across the pond, which will see the group performing four shows with Swedish rockers Dungen.
Additionally, Fleet Foxes have a new 7″ single out, which features “Mykonos” from their Sun Giant EP, and a traditional folk song entitled “False Night on the Road”. It is out now, via Sub Pop.

Definitely catching them at Lollapalooza
Earlier this week they had a listing on their Myspace for another Chicago-related event on 8/8, but it seems like they took it down. Expect a Lolla aftershow featuring them on Saturday.
I’m so excited that Fleet Foxes are finally coming back to Toronto. I got 4th row tickets! Massey Hall is a great venue for them, but it’s big, so hopefully they can sell it out.
