Shocker! DJ Hero won’t actually teach you how to be a DJ
As the release for Activison’s latest music gaming creation, DJ Hero, ever slowly approaches, it’s becoming increasingly evident that like its predecessors, this particular game won’t teach you jack shit. Well, that’s if the turntable controller says anything. Per DJ Hero:
Introducing an all-new innovative turntable controller, DJ Hero transforms players into DJs who rule the club scene by creating original mixes of popular songs and music from the world’s most exciting artists and DJs.
Yes, three buttons on a mock, likely immovable turntable will do that for you…

DJ Hero is scheduled to transform the music world forever hit stores this fall.

i reckon dj hero look so much better then scratch all scratch is doing is stealing the limelight of dj hero like the idiot who posted scratch will be better news flash mate it may not even get realesed and what the hell is beatmania
I may learn how to DJ just to spite all of my friends who will inevitably buy this.
I think the Numark name, the obviously superior controller, and the already enticing tracklisting should make Scratch a winner over DJ Hero.
Check out this other company’s rival DJ game, Scratch. Looks more complex and is licensed by Numark: Scratch
Activision’s “Hero” products are all crap. Ever since Harmonix left that franchise any actual music performance concepts don’t exist. Guitar Hero, etc. is glorified Simon. Harmonix/Rock Band supremacy: a company run by musicians most of whom are in great bands and a drumming simulation that can actually improve your skills.
Well, Guitar Hero sure kicked the shit out of Guitar Freakz but Beatmania sure looks like its gonna be way better than this crap.
