Modest Mouse has a new song which you can listen to right now
Not a Wilco fan are you? Well, how does some new Modest Mouse sound?
Ok, so it’s not entirely new - the band did play it at Letterman a while ago, but from a release standpoint, “Satellite Skin” is brand new. On May 26th, Modest Mouse will release the song and another previously unreleased selection, “Guilty Cocker Spaniels”, as a limited-edition 7″ single and as a digitial download on iTunes.
Ahead of the release, Isaac and Co. are currently streaming “Satellite Skin” on their MySpace, so do yourself a favor and go check it out. It’s a nice end-your-workday song.
As for what else is on the Modest Mouse agenda in the coming months? Well, a new EP is supposedly in the works, as is a Tom Peloso solo album. And then, there’s an appearance at Bumbershoot in September.
Good times, with or without Johnny Marr.

Yes, indeed: http://consequenceofsound.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/satellite.jpg
Is that the cover art for the single? Not gonna lie it looks like the cover art from “The Bravery’s” first album. eegads!
