Watch: The Lonely Island takes the Boat to Fallon (Seriously, you need to watch!)
Last night, The Lonely Island stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to make its live debut.
The result is perhaps the greatest performance late night television has seen in some time.
Sure, “I’m On a Boat” is far from the best song on Lonely Island’s debut LP, Incredibad. But add the backing support of The Roots, some hilarious outfits - I’m not sure which was funnier: mermaids grinding Captain T-Pain Black Thought, or the guy walking around in the background actually dressed like a boat, and the one-of-a-kind intensity of Mr. Andy Samberg, and The Lonely Island produced one hell of a performance.
Is anyone else clamoring to see these guys live?

That wasn’t T-Pain? It sounded EXACTLY like him, though! How is that?
Brain lapse. Thanks.
If anything, this shows that T-Pain has absolutely no talent.
“We didn’t want him to come.” haha.
t-pain didn’t perform with them, it was Black Thought of The Roots that did the t-pain vocals.
Love The Lonely Island. Their digital shorts are some of the best stuff on SNL!
