Blinkapalooza ‘09: Who is opening when?
Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, The All-American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, Asher Roth, and Chester French. No, it’s not the list of names appearing on the latest Now! album, rather it’s who will be accompanying Blink-182 on its upcoming reunion tour. Of course, not all seven acts can play on one night - that would both defy the law of physics and cause some massive headaches, so, everyone’s taking a turn. Who and when is surely the question now on everyone’s mind, one which has now been solved by the fine folks at Absolute Punk.

Why won’t Weezer come to Calgary?
the band, venue and ticketing sites all list an 8/31 jones beach show, but no 8/9 jones beach show. the latter is still listed on pollstar, and the former not, but it seems like they changed the date and some people haven’t caught up.
Blink-182 is terrible.

i got TBS and Weezer…i’m going for them. Fuck Blink, they’re probably the worst band ever live. so so so bad
I might have been persuaded to go if Weezer and Taking Back Sunday were opening on the Calgary date, but Jesus Christ, Fall Out Boy and The All-American Rejects? I don’t think so.
