Green Day unveils tour support
Blink-182 say what?
Beginning in July, Green Day will embark on its own summer extravaganza, this in support of its new album, 21st Century Breakdown. And like every other high-profile tour this summer (see: Blink-182, NIN/Jane’s, & Depeche Mode), Billie Joe and Co. have rounded up quite the supporting cast. Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, and The Bravery will all serve as openers during the upcoming U.S. portion of the tour, which lasts until late August.
Any tickets left can be obtained via Ticketmaster.com.

First off, the link for Depeche Mode takes us to the Blink-182 story. Second, is Peter, Bjorn and John really that notable of a support act?
I’m so pissed Nashville is missing out on Franz Ferdinand by 2 gigs. As far as I know, Franz has ever played Music City. I guess it could be worse– we could be getting The Bravery.
