Whatever the case may be, the Los Angeles based trio has not only made up with the record label, but signed a signed a new multi-album recording deal. “It’s great to finally move forward and focus on what’s most important to us all- the music,” says Jared Leto. “We are excited about starting over with the many talented people at Virgin/EMI, and to sharing our new music with the fans in the very near future.”
The new music Leto speaks will be in the form of the band’s third full-length album, which is set for release this fall. The Flood-produced, Kanye West-featuring? followup to 2005′s A Beautiful Lie was originally referred to as This Is War. However, since news of the rekindling with Virgin, the album currently sports a yet-to-be-titled. Coincidence? Probably not.
