After a short pause to alert people that The White Stripes are still alive, Jack White has jumped back on The Dead Weather wagon, this time to announce what surely is one of the more anticipated North American tours of the summer. Yes, you won’t just have to hit up on of their many upcoming festival appearances – though an addition to Bonnaroo would be nice, to check out the super group consisting of White, The Kill’s Alison Mosshart, The Raconteur’s “Little” Jack Lawrence, and Queen of the Stone Age’s Dean Fertita.

Following a one-off in Louisville in mid-June – Bonnaroo PLEASE!, the quartet will embark on a month-long endeavor beginning in mid-July. Dates include multiple nights in Washington, Chicago, and Vancouver, along with single stops just about everywhere else.

Limited pre-sale tickets will be available starting Wednesday, May 13th at 12:00 p.m. EST via thedeadweather.com. Those fans purchasing pre-sale tickets will also have the opportunity to pre-order the band’s upcoming debut full-length, Horehound, at a discounted price.

Once again, Jack White never ceases to disappoint.
