The Cave Singers Welcome Joy
On August 18th, we’ll all be getting a little more joy in our life. That’s because on that day, The Cave Singers will unleash their sophomore studio effort, Welcome Joy, via Matador Records. Recorded at The Hive in Vancouver, the 10-track effort is said to add “a world of color and nuance to the already great songs from their 2007 debut.” Expect a little bit Lightning as well - or more specifically, Lighting Dust - because Ashley and Amber Webber of Lighting Dust joined the Cave Singers (Peter Quirk, Derek Fudesco and Marty Lund) for this record. So, joy, color, nuance, and lightning dust - sounds like the makings of a great children’s movie, or album.
