Rothbury shares 2009 schedule

Five months after its organizers overcame bankruptcy issues, four months after it teased us with no lineup, three months after it unteased us with a lineup, and a month after it added a few more names, the second annual Rothbury Music Festival took one last step before all comes to fruition in just 21 days with the release of its day-by-day schedule.

Trubab Krewe will kick things off on Thursday, July 2nd, while Bob Dylan will cap things off on the Sunday, the 5th. Other highlights include some Disco Biscuits late night action on Thursday, two String Cheese Incident sets back-to-back and a Chromeo into Girl Talk late night set on Friday, two Dead sets back-to-back on Saturday, and The Hold Steady being The Hold Steady on Sunday.

  1. I don’t like when bands shut down all the other stages. It’s cool if you like that, but it really kills the mood if you are not into whatever band is on. All Points at least waits until the end to have just one stage, and then you can leave. Overall though, I think this is a really strong festival 2 years in a row. Sad I couldn’t make it this time either,

  2. some people are just really hard to please
