The Airborne Toxic Event rolls out world tour…

Not one for the harsh sun? Partial to mood lighting? Depressed? Well, Los Angeles-based The Airborne Toxic Event has you covered. This summer, continuing into the fall, the band will be hauling their moody eclecticism all across the world, hitting just about every market. From Asia to Europe, the Americas and Australia, they have just about every corner covered.

Not too shabby for a band that came together only three years ago, huh?

They’ve been keeping themselves busy, too. While their self-titled debut has been around since last August, the songs are still doing some damage. People are eating ‘em up. After the brutal success of “Sometime Around Midnight”, they’re enjoying similar fanfare with “Wishing Well”, their second single, which is currently climbing up Billboard’s Hot Modern Rock charts.

With appearances at just about every music festival this summer, not to mention their globetrotting tour, it’s highly unlikely this winning streak will cease anytime soon.

Hmm, good for them.

  1. I hope those who complained caught TATE in Hartford, Boston & Providence (July 31- aug 2) and have tickets for HOB on 10/13!

    Not jerks.

  2. Yeah, it’s kinda weird. Especially since the “alternative” station here, WFNX, were one of their earliest supporters. I have to believe that it was a scheduling problem rather than an oversight, and that a Boston date - at the very least - will be added soon. Somehow. (I’m guessing they could probably sell out decent-sized shows in Hartford or New Haven, Hampton Beach or Portsmouth (NH), and Providence as well)

  3. How about coming to the Northeast….Jerks…
