It’s been a few months since we’ve had a Crystal Castles meltdown…
Thankfully, frontlady Alice Glass and security had a little disagreement following the band’s “sound problem plagued” performance at last weekend’s Sonar Festival in Barcelona, Spain, leading to mayhem which featured rugby tackles and Glass throwing a drum kit (via NME). Someone should write a book and/or call Jack Nicholson…

Some advice for all the concert promoters out there:
If you’re going to book Crystal Castles, make sure you have a quality sound system.
Good sound quality = ridiculously good show
Poor sound quality = raging hissy fit
The only reason they still get booked is because they are that fucking good.
Lets see I love their album, they absolutely destroyed it (pun intended) when I saw them at bonnaroo, and to top it all off she’s hot as hell. Yeah, even with all this stuff I still love them.
2nd best set (radiohead in 06) of my three years at bonnaroo. when they hit, they K I L L it.
How do they still get booked after all this? I guess it’s entertaining as hell to watch after the fact.
So thankful I didn’t waste my time on them at roo.
