The National grilled by the Pentagon!

In news you just can’t make up, the Pentagon hosts an online web series called “Command Performance” where military journalists go backstage with “today’s top entertainers for conversations with a uniquely military perspective.” The latest of “today’s top entertainers” to be profiled as part of the series is perhaps the most appropriate, at least when it comes to the name - following their performance in Washington, DC a few weeks back, Matt Berninger and Scott Devendorf of The National sat down Sgt Ted MacDonald. Results below:

  2. Ha. Yes ‘Start a War’ would have been more appropriate. This clip combines two of my favorite things pigeonholing good bands and military journalists.
