Late Night Lobotomy (Week of 6/29)
If you’re in the U.S., you know that this week is all about the upcoming weekend. Fourth of July means most of us get Friday (or the following Monday) off of work. Which means we’ve already checked out mentally and are just coasting for the rest of the week.
Well, turns out the late night talk show hosts have done the same thing. Not a single show this week is new. Yeah, not even Conan, who just started his gig. After last week’s surprisingly good lineup of guests, this week’s rerunapalooza’s a bit of a letdown. However, there are some good acts worth catching a second time. I’m in full support of seeing as much Phoenix, PJ Harvey and John Parish, Neko Case and Little Boots as possible. And if you missed them the first time, well, here’s your chance to catch up!
