Update: Spoon details Got Nuffin
Late last week, word surfaced that Spoon will soon be releasing a brand new EP, entitled Got Nuffin. Since then, we’ve gotten a few more details. The “surprise” three-song single will indeed be available beginning June 30th as a 12″, CD and digital download via ANTI- Records. A limited edition 7″ vinyl version will follow sometime in July. Included will be “Got Nuffin”, which was recorded by Nicolas Vernhes at Brooklyn’s Rare Book Room and will mark the band’s first newly recorded material since 2007’s Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, as well two self-recorded b-sides, “Tweakers” and “Stroke Their Brains”.
