With stops in only Oregon, Washington, California, and one in their Saddle Creek label’s hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, one has to wonder how long this brief jaunt will last. Admittedly, it’s a little peculiar that Taylor agreed to do this tour as she has seen a great deal of success ever since the break up. Not only has she released three excellent albums, but she also just recorded with Michael Stipe (of R.E.M.) on her last, this year’s Ladyluck. As for Fink, well, this tour can only do wonders for her sluggish career.
However, there have been reports that Azure Ray might hit the studio in the near future (possibly over the winter), but don’t hold your breath just yet. This future gem could be buried ’til 2010. So, come August, we’ll see where all this takes them.
