Last week, the San Francisco duo turned trio The Dodos managed to do the unthinkable. The got us excited over the prospects of death, or should I say the Time to Die, when they announced the news that their third studio effort would be released on September 15 via Frenchkiss Records. Today, the band has upped our excited even more, thanks to the release Time To Die‘s official artwork [click here] and the announcement of a massive U.S. Tour with Subpopers The Ruby Suns.

The later of the two items kicks off in late September, following a few one-off and festival appearances, and runs until late October. Tickets for the upcoming dates are available via Ticketmaster.com – yes, folks, death isn’t free!
