Akron/Family Set ‘Em Wild, Set ‘Em Free for another few months…

Still very much all about being wild and free, Akron/Family has announced another leg of North American tour dates in support of their latest studio effort. Beginning later this month, the New York City-based outfit will kick off three months of engagements, consisting of both a slew of festival appearances and headlining club and theater dates. Joining them on their travels will be Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard, Wooden Wand, and Slaraffenland, the latter of which will also be joining Akron/Family each night to provide the soothing sounds of horns.

Accompanying the tour will be the release of a series of Akron/Family 7″s, which will first be available to those who hit up one of the band’s shows. A more traditional release will take place afterward.
