Foo Fighters return from hiatus for special 4th of July one-off
In a mere two days, the Foo Fighters will return from their extensive hiatus for a special July 4th performance. According to Rolling Stone, Dave Grohl and co have been tapped to perform a short set on the South Lawn of the White House for President Barack Obama, his family, and invited staffers as part of the First Family’s July 4th festivities. An impressive get for sure, what with Grohl’s newfound fatherhood and current collaborations with John Paul Jones and Josh Homme and bassist Nate Mendel’s upcoming engagements with Sunny Day Real Estates. Then again, this is thee Arcade Fire-loving, Springsteen-approved White House we’re talking about, and who would say no to that?

foo fighters are the biggest and best rock band of today, what better way to celebrate the 4th of july? GO FOOS
holy shit do you think i can see from outside?
In before the mandatory anti-obama comments!!

I have this weird mental image of Foo Fighters playing Stacked Actors and Obama sitting down smiling with his hands folded and his legs crossed.
HEY HEY NOW, CAN YOU FAKE IT? CAN YOU MAKE IT LOOK LIKE WE WON?
i wish i could watch the foo fighters with barack obama
